Anything But Simple

Well at least many now acknowledge that there are problems. They are... somewhat organized. In class today we lightly touched on Aristotle's ideas on the Drama. As the audience, you put aside your life for the 2hours or however long, and you take on the emotions of the characters. At the end you are a changed person.

It is true, resistance must be organized. But it must also use the greatest assets of the resistors against the opposing force. In short, these assets must be assessed, you have to find them. It's true we are greater in number, but that may not be our greatest asset. Standing around in the street is good for some purposes, like raising awareness. But was it our best move, was it the most productive thing we could have done? I think one of our better edges is that we are not all stupid yet. Just sayin, we need to come up with something better, something that actually has an effect on the situation. What is the effect in this case? We proved that they have OC spray and we don't. Already proven in the Seattle protests. I'm not suggesting nothing good came of it, just that it could have been better. I have a harsh and cynical view, it's true, but it's still my opinion.
