Sums it up - like the rain that is dumping right now and really needs to stop... It's liberating to know that I need never take classes again if I didn't want to. Life is full of possibilities. TLC concert was good, though opening night is like the last dress rehearsal... Epic orchestra piece at the end there ;)
A cello trio is in the making, hopefully soon. And a piano/cello piece on its way, someday when I get some ideas and get back into exploring the piano keys. Tenor and Alto clefs are starting to be a little less beastly, but I would still prefer everything to be written in Treble/Bass, and just learn to count ledger lines...
A new 21st century series of Sherlock Holmes that is viewable for free: Masterpiece | Sherlock | PBS is actually really good. Being a book person (the movie from last January could hardly have anything in common other than the name), I was delighted to find that the producers tried to stick to the books' ideas and characters as much as possible, while updating everything to the current century. Which I love, because Doyle's Holmes is very much a man of cutting edge technology (for the Victorian era), a bit beyond his time - and he's not in his fifties... Loved the nicotine patch idea.
The upside of the rain is that it reminds me its the Christmas time of year, which I kind of forget sometimes... It doesn't really affect the second derivative of a cubic function, or the volume of a cylinder inscribed in a unit sphere. But I can forget those now.

The Countdown
So there are officially 9.5 days left until the fall semester ends... 9.5 creeping days... hecktic days... ridiculous days... 2 unfinished essays, 6 sections of calculus, 2 chapters of psychology, 2 chorales, and 4 finals. But I did finish theory today with a performance of my string quartet! That was fun; those are the best finals ever. Besides no finals. Haha. There is a slight possibility I could make it as a composer, which would be interesting...
One reassuring thing is that I will (hopefully) never EVER take an English class again.
